I know it's just a meme, but apparently garlic and onions are both toxic to kitties. Just assert dominance and steal your garlic bread back! It's for, uh, health and safety damnit lol

Yeah they basically suffocate from it, something around the lines of blood not transferring oxygen. Ironically my cats go nuts for it. They said buy some garlic spray thing at the pet store to stop them from scratching the couch. And the idiots lined up to lick it instead. I'm not sure if the pet store was trying to offer a "permanent" solution to couch scratching...

Maybe it's like capsaicin for them, it hurts so good

I'll have to stop giving my kitten onion bread.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of that. It's crazy the kinds of things that people can eat with no problems but can make a cat sick or even kill them. Don't feed your cat friends people food!

My cat pissed on my head this morning

We are not the same

One of my cats did that to me once. 😬

Mad or kidney / urinary issues (e.g. crystals/stones)

[–] ryannathans@aussie.zone 4 points 2 days ago

Crystals or stones would show up on a urine dip stick right?

Kitty rules! Also I hope you are both ok.

Well, the thing with cats is that what yours is theirs and what's theirs is theirs.

So it's only natural for them to take their garlic bread.
