Well, they use gum Arabic. But energy drinks have taurine.
If you live in a first world country, living vegan is honestly not a problem at all. And of course I'm not counting the US here. These guys are just poor people that are challanged enough already.
I think I would have a tough time with going full vegan. Vegetarian sounds like I could do it easily. I enjoy a lot of vegetarian dishes regularily and will often prefer vegetarian options over meat based dishes.
So do vegan plus. Vegan plus bacon. Vegan plus cheese.
Don't let perfect become the enemy of progress.
My progress is to introduce more vegan meals, not to cut out meat fully. Lacto-ovo flexi pescatarian, or something like that.
Of all the places in the world I’ve been, eating vegan in the US was the easiest by far.
Edit: except India. I should have specified western world.
Considering German cuisine, I find it very easy to do at the least in most big cities.
I mean, your country can be rich but it does not mean it's easy being vegan and even if its, often there is still an economic impact on going vegan that poorer people cannot afford
Being vegan is much cheaper
In a just world it is, but it kinda depends. A lot of countries subsidise dairy products into the ground for example, which can make it cheaper to be vegan except for dairy. This is of course still better than not vegan at all
I mean, germany does subsidize dairy products and the store-brand oat milk is still cheaper. Is it more heavily subsidized where you live?

I don't get the appeal. It tastes like energy drink flavour.
With so many funny and interesting flavours monster and most other energy drinks have, choosing the basic energy flavour is just bland.
White Monster? Pretty good. Better than Red Bull for sure. But the best Monster for me is the ice tea flavored one.
If you enjoy what's essentially lightly carbonated and highly caffienated sugar water, then they're pretty good.
White Monster is highly caffeinated artificial sweetener water, it's sugar-free.

White Monster (pictured) tastes like... orange pop that's less sweet, much more citrus and has something else going on akin to saltiness at the same time; maybe it's an umami-flavour. It is genuinely delicious. I have now tried the rest of the Monster line-up and despised them, they are all fit for the pit. I haven't tried any other energy drink.

Compared to the amount of coffee a lot of people drink, these aren’t that bad. There’s no sugar at least.
A standard run of the mill large coffee has more caffeine than one of these, and people guzzle those down.
It isn't just the caffeine, it is the ungodly amount of B vitamins and extra crap they throw in along with the caffeine that does a lot of the long term damage.
It also has taurine

Yes but don't be fooled by the name: Taurine is called like that only because it was first discovered in bulls but it's present and produced by many other animals and micro organism; as much as i know most of the taurine is today produced either by synthesis or by harvesting what some micro organisms produce
