The EU should respond by dumping all American bonds and sanctioning Israel, but they won't, because the EU is a neoliberal plutocracy not far behind the US; cut from the same cloth of capital over people; surveilance over civil rights; the decay into fascism is almost guaranteed based on the distribution of wealth and dependence on American tech.

Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Saddam Hussein tried that and was killed because of it.
I mean, I remember he was killed for a lot of other things. But yeah that was oil in the fire lol
Your not totally wrong on the threat to privacy and democracy in the EU and its member states. You are dead wrong however on much of the rest. The EU is working hard on all sorts of things that are crucial for strategic autonomy. Sovereign satellite communication, payment systems fully independent from the US, also down to the consumer with credit card alternatives in daily life. Laying the groundwork for transition to open source based software in all public systems at the very least. A lot of those things have meaningfully accelerated in recent years, or at least started for real.
Some of these things are already pretty progressed others just starting. This does take time and it is done best without shouting it out loud all the time.
Dumping all bonds to trigger a nuclear option, while not at least much of the above has been done to a sufficient extend, is not terribly clever.
I mean you might be right, but don't they have to overcome an enormous bureaucratic inertia to get there?
Adding to this, imperialism is a hell of a drug that depends on the other imperial powers remaining cooperative.

The more and the harder the US wastes its sanction tools on the ICC and against European countries, the faster those will turn blunt and the faster the pillars those sanctions are resting on will collapse.
