Turn it into a prison for billionaires. Make it a zoo
Maybe they could do it or maybe they couldn’t, but the infighting about it would be insane. You’d have representatives talking about how it’s a waste of taxpayer money, others would say it is healing, if a republican president got elected next, they might just build it again.
Instead of the first person in office just deleting these 4 years physically, I’d much rather see them spend their energy to address reforms that would keep another bad actor like Trump from getting elected again.
Then, once we’ve closed the loopholes, money faucets, and propaganda machines, another well reasoned president down the line can work on the demolition project.
The people doing the demo and reconstruction of the White Hiuse, are different people than who would be fixing the executive legal landscape. Both can be done at the same time.
It’s not about resources, it’s about the resistance from the opposition. I think if they try to do everything at once, they’ll find a war on all sides from the republicans, but if they can focus their energy, they might stand a chance of getting something done.
There is no resistance to doing renovations to the White House. Rump as shown that POTUS only needs to speak it, and it shall be done.

I'd rather the next president does not bother with all this stupid petty ass shit. Make it a public bathroom. Or use it for something else that helps everyone like a public library, he would hate that. But i cant stand all this bullshit any longer.
Honestly, with the caliber of contractors this fucking clown selects, it will either tear itself down, or will need to be about 17 seconds after competion.

not sure how that could be done in 6 months. Tearing down can be done in weeks, but building with any level of quality takes years. Also as much as I would love to burn down everything that reminds us of trump. I want the next president focused on cleaning up the trump messes that are ruining all of our lives, rather than making the whitehouse look good.
It's not very large. Surprisingly small really. And if you truly spare no expense with crews working 24/7, it can be done quite quickly. 6mo is agressive, but it can be done, and done well in that time.
And especially not on union labour. Maybe forced 24/7 labour.
I don't think the next president is going to destroy it. They're going to use it for whatever means and it'll just go from there.
What if the next Prime Minister, said I want that 24 Sussex Drive house destroyed and Parliament put a new house on the plot, and I want to use all Union members? And done in Six months?
It's taken 30 years for a prime minister to start to do anything about the rats and the black mold so I don't expect anything would happen.
