Uncanny resemblance...

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 19 hours ago

Wait, like Diane Feinstein? I have no faith in either party to actually give a fuck about us.

[–] maxthemummer@lemmus.org 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

So, a typical Trump voter then.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Is he also being told who/what to vote for?

[–] joelectron@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

More than usual, you mean?

Yes.

[–] Malica@lemmy.zip 25 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not just McConnell, all those geriatric fucks are too old to be clinging to power.

[–] veni_vedi_veni@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

So I brought my boombox and hit the turbo bass and what happened next was a total disgrace

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 42 points 2 days ago (2 children)

He's lost it obviously, he's not all there. Yet another embarrassment for all Americans.

Let's elect him as President.

[–] Catma@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago

Fucking over democracy even in a catatonic state? If young Mitch could see him now he would have the orgasm of a lifetime.

This image from the article is rough. I have watched three grandparents decline mentally before they passed, and that is the face of someone who is not sure where they are but is doing their best to pretend they aren’t lost and scared.

As much as I hate the man for evil he has put into the world, that is not Mitch anymore, and I legitimately feel sorry for the lost mind trapped inside his body. I hope he passes soon, for everyone’s sake.

[–] luciferofastora@feddit.org 8 points 1 day ago

Yeah, I think it's possible (and sometimes valuable) to have both disdain for someone's actions and decisions and compassion for things they didn't and couldn't decide. I hope he is removed from all positions of influence, but I wouldn't wish dementia on him any more than I would on anyone else.

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 78 points 2 days ago (6 children)

That man has helped kill millions of people.

[–] Goldmage263@sh.itjust.works 18 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Look, I want to piss on his grave as much as anyone, but it isn't retribution or justice when the individual suffering no longer remembers who they are or what they did. Makes me think of Nier: Automata with

spoiler___ Popola and Devola
I'm just ready for Kentucky to get another chance at a thinking representative.

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 32 points 2 days ago (7 children)

Great game. Still don’t care. Dude has done imessurable harm to innocent and oppressed people. My grandma went like this and it’s horrible to watch. My grandma never heald a seat of power and helped destroy the United States and murder women and children. Fuck Mitch. Fuck the shell of Mitch and may his mindless bitch ass be as scared and unaware until he shuffles off this mortal coil. This is the great equalizer and just more evidence why we should be kind to each other and not tolerate Nazis. Mitch has been instrumental to where we are as a nation of Nazis right now. And we aren’t even fucking getting started. Sincerely one of his constituents.

Vote trump into prison. No quarter. No more sympathy. America lives or dies this November.

[–] axus@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 day ago

Giving humans immortality would mean people like Mitch in his peak evil years would never die

[–] Goldmage263@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I understand, and if you get satisfaction then great! I just can't.

Absolutely vote Trump into prison for life. All 5-15 remaining years of it.

He deserves all the suffering you can imagine and more

[–] hardcoreufo@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago

I get it had the same thing happen to my granma it was awful to watch and something I'd normally not wish on anyone. However, I can only hope Mitch suffers the same fate and survives a decade as a husk. Its the karma he deserves.

[–] NewSocialWhoDis@lemmy.zip 11 points 2 days ago

If it helps, remind yourself that this is what he would have wanted for himself.

[–] switcheroo@lemmy.world 25 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Fucking ghoul. Why in Congress a nursing home??? Get these geriatric ass fucks OUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUT OF OUR LIVES!

[–] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I think their staff has a huge role to play in all of this. All those people know they will lose their job when he leaves so they are all holding him up and keeping him there. It's actually kind of sad that we treat the elderly this way. Even if I don't like the guy I feel like becoming an actual puppet while you are actively dying is so cruel. He should be in a bed somewhere

I wouldn't be shocked if this is what he wanted if it meant bombing one more school.

[–] sportsjorts@lemmy.zip 36 points 2 days ago (6 children)

If someone has to be told how to vote they should be removed from office immediately. Fucking zombies.

This was already happening...

I forget which vote, but he voted the opposite of how he was supposed to and a bunch of aids had to jump in.

They just yelled at him to vote the other way, didn't even attempt to explain what was happening.

There's an army of staffers running our government thru geriatric puppets.

[–] FaceDeer@fedia.io 50 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Sheesh, I hate that we're at the point where I feel bad for Mitch McConnell. This is elder abuse.

[–] ThatFuckingIdiot@sh.itjust.works 74 points 2 days ago (3 children)

That asshole deserves whatever elder abuse he's getting, times a hundredfold.

[–] DaveyRocket@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Ya, but that’s not happening to him, it’s happening to someone who is probably no longer him and is just a frightened old man like any other. I wish bad things upon the past Mitch who was aware and doing terrible shit, but this isn’t him anymore.

It’s important to remember that an outlet for rage rarely aligns with our usual morals.

So instead, let’s fight elder abuse while ensuring future generations understand that this man was a fucking nazi who brought nothing but shame to the nation and state he swore to serve, while enriching himself.

[–] ThatFuckingIdiot@sh.itjust.works 1 points 15 hours ago

This prick gleefully made this country worse for millions of people for the next 3+ generations.

I don't care if he remembers his name in hell, may he burn there all the same.

No, it's exactly what he would have wanted.

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 22 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It is entirely fitting that Mitch McConnell is fillibustering Death itself

I know we should be sad to see his down fall from the "upstanding" individual he was by protecting the US form mandatory Paid Sick Leave, stealing a SCOTUS seat claiming 600+ days was too soon to get Neil Gorsuch, fighting against "greedy" 9/11 survivors, opposing civil rights, and filling a SCOTUS seat after an election had occurred with a Biden win. I hope the rest if his life is painful and very public

Illegality has never been of great concern for American politicians.

[–] M137@lemmy.today 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Have you been around and even slightly informed for the past decade? Seeming illegal is light weight shit for them.
