Their correct stance that copyright doesn't protect rights holders from training AI on content scraped legally.

Maybe, but their stance on AI does suck.
What is their stance on AI?
Copyright doesnβt protect from training on data that was scraped legally.
Which is exactly the stance I would expect from EFF, since their primary goal is an open and free internet. Scraping is a normal activity if you ascribe to that ethos.

You have to meet your audience where they are at. Twitch makes a lot of sense and has a lot of reach.
You can reach your audience from a variety of channels. At least one of them should be free. This should be seeringly obvious to an org like EFF.
