Dude needs a better skin care regimen.

And diet. Maybe it's booze, that does a number on your vascular system.

Like, he needs to see a doctor.

I wonder what blind people call recent doctor visits. Like they wouldn't say "I saw the doctor about that mole...". So what WOULD they say?

I went looking and found this: https://www.queenstreetstudios.net/artists/ian-cumberland/

So his physical skin looks in much better shape. It's symbolic I guess, or else he's Dorian Grey.

I've never seen eyeglasses so clean

Two days ago, I read The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole, written as if it were the diary of a boy growing from age 14-16 through some turmoil. Repeatedly throughout the book, he references his "disfigured skin." Eventually it's revealed that he's a "normal, average looking boy."

Probably mostly because of how recently I read the book, this self deception was my first thought on seeing the self portrait above.

Oh, he looks normal in that picture. Whatever it is, he's an incredibly talented artist.

Most skin care regimes are inlfuencer-pushed expensive products that don't actually do that much for your skin.

I guess it depends on where you get your information. None of the skin care regimens I'm aware of are those things, because I don't watch influencers. That said, my regimen is just drink lots of water, use a facial wash, and moisturize every morning after the shower. KISS. I bought some nighttime moisturizer, but I always forget to put it on before bed.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with moderation. Dutch TV did a bit on how it's being peddled to kids and teenagers. Instilling them with the need to put on lots of make up and the products to get them off again. None og which is healthy behaviour. I jusst watched that so im associating the 'regime' bit with that type of behaviour.

There's definitely a massive increase in the amount of makeup being worn these days. Lots of people seem to think that they should look like an Instagram filter IRL, and that's pretty sad.

The hair detail is well done, color me impressed.

Is that one of the new Crayola colors? I remember when they renamed "Skin" to "Peach". Which is insane. It's nothing like a peach.

It's realistic, but you can see strokes. Really like the style!
