General and social anxiety are correlated with some types of autism. Doesnβt mean everyone on the spectrum has anxiety nor that everyone who experiences these types of anxiety is on the spectrum. But it is a data point. String enough of them together and you just might stumble your way into a diagnosis. Or thatβs how I did anyway.
This is literally what anyone with SA has to deal with on a daily basis.
