You can kick him in the nuts 3 times, but only one will count.

[–] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Be careful. These nuts may kick back!

Holy shit my little brother is getting married next month and now I have to find Crocs to put these on the front and nuts on the back. Anyone got the assist here? I have a 3d printer.

[–] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 day ago

Looks like AliExpress but DIY would be epic

Everyone I know who wears Vibram FiveFingers now being asked why they haven’t upgraded yet

[–] hamsamrich@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Brought to you by Brawndo, The Thirst Mutilator!

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 29 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It pokes fun at truck nuts so i find it funny. I never wear my Crocks with the band in the back so I can't use these.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Must be a city slicker if you never put your crocks into 4wd.

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 day ago

I've heard it called "sport mode"

Both of you, it's "Crocs"!

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 7 points 1 day ago (3 children)

I only wear them around the house because of the hard tile floors. I'm not wearing those monstrosities in public.

[–] FreshLight@sh.itjust.works 1 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

My s.o. got me Lightning McQueen Crocs for Christmas a few years back.

I'm rocking these bad boys whenever I get the chance. And they light up when I walk! Ka-chow!

[–] CanadianCarl@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

Why are they monstrosities? I love my crocs. They were cheaper than my running shoes. They also work great at rocky beaches.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Lol, fair enough.

[–] mbp@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 day ago

These kinda go hard, ironically

[–] SirSamuel@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Here's a fun exercise.

If a person is driving a vehicle that has truck nuts, there is a high probability they are a ~~inbred fascist~~ hillbilly MAGAt.

If you get the chance to talk to the driver of said vehicle, congratulate them on helping their truck transition to male, and thank them for supporting trans rights. Immediately exit the Lowe's parking lot, letting them stew on what you just said

(Caution: There is a >0% chance you will be assaulted for doing this. That likelihood increases proportionate to the amount of beard and body fat you do not possess)

[–] rustydrd@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Regarding truck nuts as gender-affirming surgery for cars is already being lenient. Everyone knows the gender affirmation is really for the owner and not for the car.

[–] SirSamuel@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

I'm not gonna body shame someone for having a little peepee and tiny balls. That's between them and their therapist/bar tender.

I will say a giant vehicle or firearm is no replacement for gender affirming care. I would add that things that make a man feel more masculine, like hair transplants, penis enlargement, "low T" therapies, and similar things are gender affirming care. Those that receive that care should be reminded of that fact, lest they forget that what's good for the goose is good for the gander

[–] Grabthar@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Totally! What kind of monster wears their crocs in sports mode?

[–] davidagain@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago

Only when I go in the loft or on the beach.

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 12 points 1 day ago (3 children)

As a proud foot fetishist, DEATH TO CROCS!!!

[–] luthis@lemmy.nz 4 points 1 day ago

That was on my Bumble profile. Gotta prioritise the important things

[–] hOrni@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who love Crocs, and those who never tried them on. I've tried them on. I have 3 pairs. I will buy more.

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I feel like the older I get, that function is more important than aesthetics.

Crocs and other similar foot wear made from eva foam is not only incredibly comfortable but cheap to make.

It's just eva foam.

I wish they weren't so ugly but it is what it is.

I'm honestly surprised no ones been able to design eva footwear that isn't so ugly.

I've seen some ballet flat shoes that are decent design. Croc makes them. But that's about it.

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They could be the most comfortable shoe ever created and I still wouldn't wear them. Wearing them could feel like getting my dick sucked and I still wouldn't wear them.

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 1 points 22 hours ago

You got one of them word-a-day calendars? I had to look that one up. Very nice.

[–] antianarchist@sopuli.xyz -1 points 1 day ago

Good to know how to keep you away. No offense. Just ignore my feet.

[–] SleepyPie@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This might indeed be comorbid with the end of something.

Shamelessness is said to be an expression of freedom which is ironically an admittance of repression.

The shameless actor is anxious about lost freedoms, and feels compulsion to perform. Unfortunately their performance is entirely dependant on a viewer, whether to take pleasure in their disgust or to justify further acts in others.

Ultimately if the shameless were truly free they would not have these extreme compulsions. It is said to be common in historical social decline, or when the future is uncertain.

I think truck nuts are a symbol of a certain lifestyle and perspective in life.

They symbolize something specific. A fixation on displays of masculine superiority (even on shoes).

A symbol of insecurity and extreme gender conformity and promotion of toxic masculinity in its most basic form.

Having male genitals on display to prove your manliness.

I don't have a problem with artistic expression in style. But the message being expressed here is not a testament to the progress of humans but the opposite.
