Pointless/10, but aesthetically pleasing.

I imagine that manipulating NPC pathfinding for when bases get attacked is actually helpful. And if you're gonna build walls anyways, you might as well make them look nice.
You could say that about pretty much all settlement fortifications in Fallout 4 lol
Both correct.
Wrong! Zimonya is fun to defend, as shit from what I remember doesn't spawn smack dab in the middle. I once made fully automated gated wall with enough defence turrets to annihilate anything I could see before I got there. :D
Most satysfying. You can pull it off in few places. Don't everextend in sanctuary and it works too, Abernathy is also working great...
I absolutely love playing around with settlements. I have a ton of mods specifically for that.
If someone could make a Game that's essentially the sim settlements 2 mod, and make it a bit of a survival type game, that'd be perfect. Like a post apocalyptic first person cities skylines.
any of those mods make building less annoying/snapping more intelligent?
Workshop Plus is probably the one that does the most for making things work better, however I also use a smattering of mods like Place Anywhere/Everywhere (two separate mods that work together to do the things I want) and Snappable Junk Walls (plus a few others that follow the same name pattern Snappable Covenant Walls, etc) and a bunch of mods that add craftable things for decorating settler areas.
Pretty good except you left the door wide open.
Great effort
Are you playing pc modded?
Not enough rocket launcher turrets.
