Storytime,

On my very first time flying I was 18, flew alone from Europe to SE Asia and sat at the airport with hours to spare to make sure I really didn't miss my flight.

Police walk up, one stays away with a dog, the other comes to me. They ask whether I want to participate in their end of shift routine. The dog is super friendly and wagging, the police officers are super chill. They explain that their dog gets to find one positive package a day at least, otherwise he'll be sad. They ask whether they can stuff it in my bag. I'm a bit hesitant but this was still in my home country, not anywhere near a protest, so usually police are very professional.

They hid their package in my backpack. The dog had a blast finding it and got totally excited. I git to participate in the good boy routine of the day ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice story. Don't agree to that in the US.

Lovely story, thanks for sharing!

I had a layover in Reno a little while ago and there were a bunch of dogs deployed around just for people to pet and enjoy their company, after I met one his trainer gave me a little trading card with a picture of the dog and a short bio. Improved my day immensely

That's why I prefer cats. Cats don't snitch

They just eat your face the moment you drop. They're playing the long game.

When adjusted for their size (and thus how long they can go without eating), cats wait longer than dogs before eating your face.

I don't want the one on the street taking my drugs, either.

What if the airport dog recognise you as their trainer?

โ€œWill you offer mercy for the one who treated you so tenderly?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m sorry, father. You bear bundles of sin upon your body. I must make it known. Broof. Broof. Aroo.โ€

If it's a pitbull that will not save you

Ask for an autograph from mr worldwide then.

The vast majority of dogs I see at the airport aren't drug/police dogs.
