That's it.

Well it kinda is hate speech. And I hate him too.
I got banned recently too from some auto mod. You get flagged for mentioning the current events and being against them, and you then anything construed as even the slightest bit of violence or talking bad about Israel, trump, ai etc then you get auto banned.
Didn't bother to appeal because fuck them at this point. My only regret is everytime I am on Lemmy I feel as if its wasteful of time. Everyone here already agrees with me, and the sub's are surprisingly focused on things I enjoy. Don't get me wrong its perfect, but I don't feel like im moving forward in anyway. I think I need to be on reddit bullying maga and people who suck off billionairs.
Reddit feeds it's data into gemeni, chatgpt, and a few other llms. They can't have us poisoning their information with "bad information" and need to kick out any bad actors ruining their control on the flow of information. If you google some obscure fact or something and the only source for that info is on reddit then google will proudly display that as fact. If this kind of post happens numerous times, and at least 10-20 people comment parroting the same thing, google believes it more. Look up if brace beldon can dunk on a regulated basket ball hoop. It helps more if its a unique sentence, or fact that can't be confused with anything else.with misinformation, It takes real people in a third party country to sift through and verifiy if its true or not, ai is not some oracle of truth.
Someone needs to be there bullying people that are doing the same thing but for maga, elon musk, Sam Altmann. You want to bully the basement dwellers out of these spaces and make being against facisim cool, funny, and seem like the chads. People gotta be out there making these losers become the new "sjws" or wokes. Growing up this kind of shit infected my friend groups and created kind of this alt right pipe line. Someone has to be out there targeting the largest demographic on YouTube and these other cultural spaces like reddit, which is always high school kids. Someone has to be the edgy but woke version of Andrew Tate or whatever the fuck charlie kirk was supposed to be. Someone's gotta fight on their level by ignoring facts and just making them look dumb and attacking their character. You have to make them seem like the woke babies so no one aspires to be that, and if they do they will get bullied. Bots can't do that, humans can make memes that explain a thousand concepts in a single image. Humans can cut deep and hit your insecurities in a way an llm couldn't comprehend. We have the house advantage here.
Every comment on any platform should be memes about the epstine files, memes of JD Vance face, people getting bullied for publicly supporting A or, B. The more memes and comments they ban, while reporting the opposite of what is true more people will become radicalized. More than anything people hate being directly lied to and won't forget it. If not that, its going to be grok or chatgpt saying its nessisary to destroy Gaza because trump needs to build is hotel there and no one will question it, or if they do they are just banned.
Spez is in bed with Netanyahu, so you can expect more bans going forward if you continue to be mean to poor old genocidal Israel.
Every single media channel is in bed with them.
We've all been there. I was banned because I commented on a thread about Islamic Western integration and said I saw a BBC show once where they were talking about Muslims not integrating very successfully into British culture, but I'm American so I didn't know first hand. I was banned for hate speech.
I made the decision to purge my Reddit account - bulk deleted everything I’ve commented and posted, and deleted my account. I don’t like the direction they’re headed in. When I first started using it, discussion was 100% encouraged; if you looked hard enough and tried hard enough, you could get into deep conversations or learn something you hadn’t known before. Nowadays, though, anything you post is subject to Reddit’s keyboard warriors. Instead of actually discussing things, they name call and go through your Reddit history to find something to make fun of you for. Hell, did you know even if you had your Reddit account set to private, people could download extensions to see it?
Can you still delete all your content? I thought they prevented bulk-content deletions.
I guess so, because that’s what I did. Before I deleted my account, I made sure my profile was 100% purged and it was.
Same shit happens here if you don't agree with the echo chamber. The people of this place aren't any better. It's a smaller pool with politics you align with in most cases.
The difference here is the admins can't force mods to be their unpaid cucks and effect speech platform wide. Not that this place isn't an echo chamber of progressive politics.
Yeah people forget what it was like when Harris was running. This place was absolutely disconnected from reality
You mean the people who were trying to decide whether they should vote for Harris based on her and Biden's views on Israel? Pretty sure that would have turned out 100x better than what we got now.
Those people were being downvoted to oblivion, basically any opinion that wasn't 100% support was being suppressed.
The right was overwhelmingly full of mysogynistic racists. The left was pissed about the state of policing and Palestine. Democratic leadership decided to check every box to ensure the right was whipped into a vote or die hysteria and the left would be on the fence but pointing this out was not allowed at the time.
You are indeed the person disconnected from reality that that user is referencing.
Would Harris have been marginally better? Sure, especially if you're an American and have fully disconnected yourself from all foreign policy decisions.
Was she a good candidate considering the American electorate? No, she decided to be a Reagan era republican except even more racist and genocidal. We already had one of those running for the other side and those voters don't change their letter.
Did she run a good campaign considering the historicity of the "independent voter" as well as the history of right-wing voters in this country? Absolutely not. She did every single possible thing to show she was not at all a choice for anyone not right wing, and we already had a right-wing president running for office on the republican side. She also showed absolutely ridiculous ignorance in the state of the American public by praising Biden during one of the worst economic periods in US history, directly caused by his policies.
The attitude on most lemmy instances was "vote blue no matter who dies." You were not allowed to question why 1 million children in Gaza needed to die. You were not allowed to question why Iran needed to be invaded for their "continued transgressions." You were not allowed to question why Biden intentionally destroyed the primary process and thus removed the entire fucking illusion of democracy in the democratic party. Hell when Biden was the candidate you were not allowed to question why a man who had one of the most public mental declines in world history, literally rivaling Nero, was the presumed candidate for president, especially given he had lower approval ratings than Trump by the end of his presidency.
You people (pejorative) were worked into this ridiculous cult-like frenzy, I suppose in response to the cult of Trump, not realizing that's not why Trump won either time.
Regardless of her policies, many didn't vote for Harris because she's a black/asian woman. As long as Americans keep denying that, nothing will change.
The only people that did not vote for her because of her race and gender identity were never going to vote for a democrat, period.
So why did she spend her entire campaign exclusively catering to them?
No, some registered Democrats didn't vote because of her race and gender as well.
Please provide any data, source, or survey for this claim that is not just 'vibes some racist DNC/Shareblue commentator had.'
Because despite this claim being screeched by an extremely loud minority of non-intersectional identitarians for literally years at this point, I've yet to find a single person that believes this due to actual evidence they can provide.
Yes, the far-right that Harris spent the entirety of her campaign appealing to did not vote for her partially because of her race and gender.
Democrat voters that stayed home vs Obama or Biden did not give a shit about Harris' identity. Just her history and politics, both of which were god awful for someone not running as a Republican.

This is a very naive position to take. Not all Democrat voters are as liberal and gender equal as you think. Not all Democrat voters are as informed or cares about the policies and positions of the candidates.
Overestimating the intelligence of the voters is why Democrats lose elections.
No, the opposite is why dems lose elections. If "overestimating" was the problem the DSA wouldn't have won every single seat they ran in for the new york elections.
Here ya go. Took like ten seconds to find.
This adds up with my anecdotal experience as well. I know several Democrats, some women, who will openly say they won't vote for a woman.
Of course there are also many that would never admit that they won't vote for women.
"That includes one-quarter of women under 50 and 20 percent of men under 50, who said they would not back a qualified female candidate for president, while 13 percent of men and women over 50 said they wouldn’t be open to supporting a woman for president."
This is the only line about this, and the poll did not breakdown this derived stat by voter registration. So no. This does not support your thesis that democrat voters didn't vote for Harris because she was a woman.
Not only is this survey not categorizing people along partisan lines, they don't broach the individual topic of Harris' campaign beyond her disastrous campaign introduction and the lack of primary.
So better luck next time. Do read the things you post, or better yet, spend more than ten seconds. Because this article and the conntected source poll do not even support the headline it has.
That's more Americans than registered Republicans.
Which are half of number of republican voters that have voted in the last 3 presidential elections.
Most voters aren't registered with a party, since it's not required to vote, most people don't care about party primaries since they have no constitutional basis or protections and have no legal requirements for operation and that is the exclusive reason you register with a party if you're not planning on running.
Most Democrat voters in these recent state elections were not registered democrats.
Reddit is absolute garbage run by fascist.
And I'm regularly running new accounts to and bans here and I'll still choose this place.
Okey dokey!
lol
