"Saftey" tech just keeps getting forcefully regulated into them, making them more expensive and making shittier drivers who can't even look in their blind spots anymore because those stupid blind spot detectors. We are pretty much at the point where we have Vin lock parts and can't replace a windshield motor without paying 1.8k to bring it back to the manufacturer, and thats BEFORE the labor from their licensed tech who is the only person who can touch the god damn thing I own and I will be paying off for 48 months at 450 dollars a month.

Don't get a car or truck past 2013. Honestly peak cars IMO all existed around 90s-2006. Some good hits in the 80's too but you're prob not going to daily something that old. You all are going to want to learn how to work on your own car. If you don't have the tools and a shop it sucks a bit more and is sketchy sometimes, try to make a car friend or have people to ping off of. You can rent a lot of the tools too but I would insist on buying if its not like 300 bucks all at once. You want a good air compressor, a 12v battery charger/tester, a standard craftsman set, some ramp blocks/jacks, and the basic hand tools and you can do most things just fine.

So much of learning how to fix a car is kind of just having to fix it. I've only had 4 cars ive had to fix and daily drive sense ive started trying. And I came from practically no knowledge. YouTube surprisingly has had every single fix I needed for my exact model, and I would just google my problems and end up on forums from literally 2008 with the exact same problem and it was ususally solved. Most of the time its just replacing sensors, replacing gaskets, changing fluids or cat converter. Sometimes it doesnt fix it, so you just replace the next suspected thing.

Doing anything in excess to the point of addiction is wrong. And what I notice is that typically closeted republicans who think being gay or trans people are the worst are usually only think that because they are suffering from sex addiction and must think every gay person is like that. Kind of lost excitement after the price tag. If Xbox and Sony raised their prices first I feel like maybe the public would of received the steam machines price better. Its still too much for me regardless, I don't need one just wanted one as a fan boy.

Also its the steam frame that is the more important one in my mind.

Look up gamehub (don't use it though it's made by game sir I think) they are already using fex and you can play games like red dead 2 at 60fps 720p on a pocco phone.

Like a year or two down the line the verification system for the steam frame will be super matured and you will just be able to play the games on your phone. Fex could potentially even help inspire someone to make a arch based operating system for phones so we have something other than Ubuntu touch and postmarket os. And it would be able to run pretty much any application. A lot of native Linux apps are already ported to arm like blender, being able to run exes and video games helps a lot.

I wish I could express to you guys how much proton matured sense the release of the steam deck and the constant work with the verification program which helps them further fix proton. It was like maybe half my library that worked, and not super well when I got my q1 steam deck. Now I don't even check proton db before buying a game, besides few multiplayer games everything just works. So much of the world is going to arm and x86 is on its way out.

I got banned recently too from some auto mod. You get flagged for mentioning the current events and being against them, and you then anything construed as even the slightest bit of violence or talking bad about Israel, trump, ai etc then you get auto banned.

Didn't bother to appeal because fuck them at this point. My only regret is everytime I am on Lemmy I feel as if its wasteful of time. Reddit feeds it's data into gemeni, chatgpt, and a few other llms. They can't have us poisoning their information with "bad information" and need to kick out any bad actors ruining their control on the flow of information. If you google some obscure fact or something and the only source for that info is on reddit then google will proudly display that as fact. If this kind of post happens numerous times, and at least 10-20 people comment parroting the same thing, google believes it more. Look up if brace beldon can dunk on a regulated basket ball hoop. It helps more if its a unique sentence, or fact that can't be confused with anything else.with misinformation, It takes real people in a third party country to sift through and verifiy if its true or not, ai is not some oracle of truth.

Someone needs to be there bullying people that are doing the same thing but for maga, elon musk, Sam Altmann. You want to bully the basement dwellers out of these spaces and make being against facisim cool, funny, and seem like the chads. People gotta be out there making these losers become the new "sjws" or wokes. Growing up this kind of shit infected my friend groups and created kind of this alt right pipe line. Someone has to be out there targeting the largest demographic on YouTube and these other cultural spaces like reddit, which is always high school kids. Someone has to be the edgy but woke version of Andrew Tate or whatever the fuck charlie kirk was supposed to be. Someone's gotta fight on their level by ignoring facts and just making them look dumb and attacking their character. You have to make them seem like the woke babies so no one aspires to be that, and if they do they will get bullied. Bots can't do that, humans can make memes that explain a thousand concepts in a single image. Humans can cut deep and hit your insecurities in a way an llm couldn't comprehend. We have the house advantage here.

Every comment on any platform should be memes about the epstine files, memes of JD Vance face, people getting bullied for publicly supporting A or, B. The more memes and comments they ban, while reporting the opposite of what is true more people will become radicalized. More than anything people hate being directly lied to and won't forget it. If not that, its going to be grok or chatgpt saying its nessisary to destroy Gaza because trump needs to build is hotel there and no one will question it, or if they do they are just banned.
