~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

This does Jake dirty.
He eventually becomes a war journalist whose stories will be read (after the conflict, thanks to Weyoun) quadrantwide.
Wesley turned into a space hippie and fucked off forever.
I also think it's a little harsh on Odo, lol. Someone has to do his job.

An episode with Quark leading a protest like that on the promenade would have been amazing.
His job of always helping the fascist oppressor side? Because that's what he continuously does.
Yeah I don't like it but I do struggle to argue against it. He cares about justice, and wanted to make sure bajorans got fair treatment (in his area, at least) under the cardassians. But then again he worked for them.
Likewise he got a bit anti-"solid" racist from time to time and had a vaguely sexual relationship with the female founder, but then went back the link, calmed them all down and kind of stopped the war.
I feel like it's one step forward but then also at least one step back.
Still my favourite character so I guess I'm just a hypocrite lol
Complex characters in complex situations make the writing more interesting to me too.

It was Prodigy, not Picard. Wes wasn't in the last season of Picard, and I can't even remember him being mentioned even though his family was a big part of the season.

Bashir’s celibacy is entirely voluntary due to his pursuits of Miles and Garak
Anyone who gets to date Leeta is not involuntary anything.
I want Miles x Bashir to be cannon so bad. I get that Miles is a married father, so a divorce might not be easy for him, but a fling? A sultry night out with the boys? Pleaseeee :3

I feel like TNG, DS9, and VOY all had a specific way to mix character attributes.
Like Data wants to be human, Odo wants to be human, Tuvok and Seven are both made to be human.
Worf, Belana and Worf have anger management issues that require other characters to quell.
Harry Kim, Weasley, and Jake are all struggling to fit in.
Picard, Sisko, and Janeway are so competent that it gets in the way.
Broccoli, broccoli, and Miles are all tortured.
Q, Nelix, and Quark are all alien perverts.
Odo, Seven, and Data all have over powered abilities.
Jordie, Old man, and Kes all have less useful powers.
These mixes, allow a good variety of stories to be told, often which ask similar questions using new characters. I know you've all thought about this before.

I miss that department before it was just Odo disguised as the table.

A lot of the non-human characters are following the Spock blueprint, which I appreciate: the fish-out-of-water who needs to fit in, while plotlines do the Gene Roddenberry "we celebrate our differences" thing.
"One ticket from Nürnberg to Buenos Aires" had me rolling on the floor. Excellent!

You remember how they had a picture of hitler with a bunch of different hairstyles and beards in order to know what he might look like in a disguise if he tried to flee? Now i want one of Dukat in the same style.
