I never saw "Gladiator." I actively avoid "Titanic." on principle. I haven't seen "Fight Club." Or "Pulp Fiction." Never saw "Avatar." Missed "Up," "Tarzan" and "Lilo & Stitch" Haven't Caught "Point Break", "Reservoir Dogs" or "Constantine" Haven't seen a single Rambo or Rocky movie. I could go on... I'm in my 40's.

Not that bad. My wife jokes I'm old because I saw Lord of the Rings in the theatre. But I remember seeing Spice World in the theatre which predates it.

I remember renting the Spice World movie, but I don't recall anything about it except that there was an alien.

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

The only thing I remember is it has the spice girls in it. Nothing about the plot at all.

There was a pretty impressive drum kit. That’s all that I can remember at all

[–] justaman123@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The spice girls have a cheerleader affect in my brain, like I know they were all hot but I can't really remember any details about them except like different hair colors

Sporty was meh, but the rest were super fit. Funny seeing Ginger on Drive to Survive series, married to Christian Horner formerly of Red Bull's F1 team

I saw Bram Stoker's Dracula in the theatre.

Get off my lawn...

I watched the original Star Wars at the cinema when I was five...

Excuse me while I turn to dust and drift away peacefully on the breeze.

When I saw it in a theater, the film broke during the trash compactor scene. My poor mother was like "oh well, time to go home" but I was having none of that.

What was ol' Harry Truman like?

Of course you'd go with a timely Humphrey Bogart reference. ;)

Attribution is cut off. Please don’t do that, let the artist be known.

Is this the same poster who got banned from a comics comm for repeatedly insisting on stiffing the artist of any credit?

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago

Sorry, I didn't notice. I couldn't tell if this was an edit or the original either, because this comic got turned into a meme format ages ago. And no, that wasn't me.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

No. This is definitely not the same person. This is one of a handful of superstars that make Lemmy good.

[–] Psythik@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Nah, the movie where the "are you not entertained" meme comes from.
