An absolutely insane display of grit, adrenaline and the power of being pushed by the crowd. I think he's never put up a time below 3:30, and now clocks in at 3:27.65, setting an Olympic record in the process.

I was yelling at my TV. Dude has a vicious kick. It was a fun race to watch.

One of the (many) highlights of the tournament for sure! Commentators weren't even talking about him, completely focused on Ingebritsen and Kerr and Hocker just goes crazy on the final stretch. Amazing scenes.

On CBC, the commentator says "It's a two man race with 200 meters to go!" and Hocker was not one of the two he was talking about lol.
