Has it been that long? Man time flies.

That actually sounds delicious

For some reason we just love cooking with bananas here, I guess. We also put them on pizzas (which is not as bad as it sounds honestly).

Flying Jacob isn't bad, but as far as Swedish casseroles go I prefer Jansson's Frestelse.

[is a ] casserole made of chicken, bananas, peanuts, and bacon

I'm conflicted on this. The banana is throwing me off a bit. Cooked peanuts are a thing in a lot of Asian cuisine so that makes sense on that level. I'd try it.

I love a pb &banana sandwich, and bacon would probably be a pretty uncontroversial add, for those who eat it. Chicken is pretty neutral in taste… really, the cheese is the biggest problem, I think.

I used to alternate bites of cheese and pb on their own so that seems fine to me. Never tried banana but salty and sweet is typically good. Bacon is smoky and umami so it seems like it should work. I'm really sensitive to banana's taste and like them rather ripe (black spots on peal) so I might like that but not anything less ripe

That sounds so gross to me, but also very dependent on the type of cheese. I’m picturing cheeses like brie, bleu, and pepper jack, and I have to imagine there are better options. What kind did you have?

Ah, cheddar was the go-to there.

Why is Jacob flying? Who'd he piss off?
