I remember when the Always Sunny gang sold him his cosplay suit.

[–] Taldan@lemmy.world 6 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Really unfortunate timing for him. Trump just got a $1.776B slish fund to bribe supporters, influencers, and other powerful people with

Could have gotten a whole lot of money off that corruption

It just kills me, "Hang on, we're about to storm the capitol building? Let me not take a shit, put on my fur, horns and makeup real quick. This is gonna make history."

What a waste of vaginal dryness.

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 hours ago

The Qanon Shaman basically always dressed like that for any events.

[–] HugeNerd@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Let me also go unarmed, that'll be a successful insurrection against a government with tanks, F-35s, and satellite tracking!

[–] bold_atlas@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Well I mean....they won didn't they?

[–] OctopusNemeses@lemmy.world 9 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Did he really or he is trying to stay relevant. These people are incapable of being genuine. Every word is bullshit.

MTG ended her political career over the same thing (plus support of Israel). It doesn't mean they learned good values. She's still racist. I heard he plans to run for some office and I imagine we'll learn his current beliefs and they'll resemble the MAGA days.

But they can become fed up with a lying asshole when he's lied enough times. I was genuinely surprised when the crazy asshole MTG broke. Now I hope we'll see a lot more. Again, they'll still believe terrible things, but I like the idea of his (Trump's) fragile ego suffering. The reality is he'll probably take it out on the rest of us and it'll suck no matter what.

[–] TacoSocks@infosec.pub 2 points 2 hours ago

MTG fell like so many before her. These people shove their whole head up Trump's ass hoping to curry favor, ride the wave and get access. If they try to exert the influence they think they have gained, but get caught on the wrong side of a narrative shift, or are unable to reach an unrealistic standard of their cult, they get fucked.

I bet he'll go back for the reparation money

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 37 points 12 hours ago (2 children)

Yeah no joke, he took that pardon didn't he? Fuck him.

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 27 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago) (2 children)

To be fair I would take the fuck out of a pardon if I ever got one. Literal get out of jail free card.

[–] bold_atlas@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

I'm pretty sure there is no choice. If you're pardoned then you're released. You can try and stay in prison but they'll drag you out just like they dragged you in.

[–] neukenindekeuken@sh.itjust.works 9 points 10 hours ago (5 children)

Except you admit guilt by accepting the pardoned and commuting your crime. You can never ever change your plea or answer.

But otherwise, yeah, I agree.

[–] jve@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago) (1 children)

Why would this be true?

If you pled not guilty, got convicted, and got pardoned, that would imply admitting guilt?

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago

Because you automatically admit guilt when you take a pardon. Please whatever you want, taking a pardon makes you instantly guilty of the crime regardless.

You can also no longer plead the 5th, you MUST answer questions regarding your crimes and the crimes of others.

[–] Delphia@lemmy.world 5 points 8 hours ago

To paraphrase Chris rock "You can look innocent in jail or guilty at the mall"

[–] architect@thelemmy.club 2 points 6 hours ago

Oh like anyone gives a fuck about that now lol. Come on.

[–] Feathercrown@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Wait, what? Does this matter? Can I normally change my plea? I'm fascinated please elaborate

[–] PoopingCough@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

It's more like you can plead not guilty but still be convicted. So by accepting the pardon you are admitting you are in fact guilty. Kinda fucked in other situations really.

[–] ParlimentOfDoom@piefed.zip 3 points 8 hours ago

This is not actually true. It was once person's excuse for not wanting to accept a pardon in the past.

[–] TachyonTele@piefed.social 2 points 9 hours ago

Does any of that matter in the real world though? Compared to getting out of jail for free.

[–] Tiresia@slrpnk.net 0 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

He took an opportunity to avoid tortuous rape hell? Good for him. Nobody deserves to be in a US prison.

[–] DillDough@lemmy.zip 1 points 7 hours ago

The people creating and supporting that system do deserve it though... it's just the taxpayers don't deserve having to pay for their parasitic asses any more than they already have.

[–] Sculptor9157@sh.itjust.works 16 points 12 hours ago

That's only because he needs it for his soyboy dietary restrictions.

[–] UnspecificGravity@piefed.social 10 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Trump ain't sending one thin dime to his moron supporters. Every penny of that is going to his family and current partners.

[–] deft@lemmy.wtf 4 points 10 hours ago

I have a guy at work who is praying for his trump bucks. Sad to watch

[–] Maiq@piefed.social 11 points 9 hours ago

These peoples moral compass is amorphous, they ooze under the maga limbo bar.

[–] albbi@piefed.ca 10 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Shaman need high wis not necessarily high int.

[–] deft@lemmy.wtf 13 points 11 hours ago

High wis indicates strong insight. This dude either rolled a Nat 1 every single day for years on his insight against Trump or he's just a barbarian who believes he casts spells

[–] magnetosphere@fedia.io 16 points 12 hours ago

He is a poop smear
