Why can’t we have cool things once in a while ?
I just typed up a funny comedic reply. Then I read it back, and it came off wayyyyy too aggressive. It came off like I was just being an asshole for no reason. So I deleted it, and tried to workshop it. I wanted something that I could say mean spirited things, in a joking way, but it came off waaaaay more mean than it should have been.
So instead, imagine I sent a reply, where I was mean, but you could tell I was joking about the fact that we can't have nice things because we're all plebs, and not the billionaire ruling class. And then we'd laugh while giving them the finger.
Ok, all caught up? Cool. Back to work, dickhead!
Didn't have to get all personal about it at the end, bro. I was already having a rough day, now you're just attacking me. :(
You can, this was mostly overturned
This entire saga has been so frustrating to watch unfold. Portions of the judiciary seem absolutely hellbent on denying court ordered financial restitution to the families. It’s not like Alex Jones has even put forward sound legal arguments. My tinfoil hat theory on this is the judges putting up roadblocks are doing it not because of alex jones or free speech, but because it has a connection to guns. They don’t want something even tangentially related to guns to get a win.
I haven't followed the case, are they Trump judges?
The lower court judges that have been involved in the cases have largely been fine and just, but once you get to the appellate level it has become evident how partisan our court system has become. I should note that the fifth circuit (one of if not the worst in terms of partisanship) has now denied standing in this latest appeal by Jones, so potentially this is all coming to an end.
So the families of Sandy Hook can’t get paid because of reasons??
Because you can't get justice without having power.
When you make school shootings look bad, you make America look bad.
America is more than capable of looking bad without anyone's help.
Given this all happening in Texas, I'm not surprised.

AJ won't give up. Ever. This - not just the site but the narrative he developed around the trial and the attention he gets for it - is his livelihood, he needs to keep it up no matter how ridiculous, petty and pointless.
I hear it's only a small, partial win anyhow.
No matter for AJ: one more time he's getting media attention.
He can't give up, because that would mean that he has to start giving all of his money to Sandy Hook families, and he will not do that.
Didn't he already declare bankruptcy?
And it was declared that his declaration was not sufficient to ignore the bill. That's why Infowars was sold in the first place
