Am I too european to be shocked by 146 dollars for a full tank of a big pick-up truck? I've recently seen a BMW 5 series fill up his diesel for 100 Euros (granted it was premium diesel)
The shocking part is that the guy with the pickup truck can't actually afford the cost. He may well lose that truck because it's probably a good chunk of his net worth (at least for what he'll end up paying in the end).

On average, 66% of Americans think they could win a fight, an actual fist fight, with Donald Trump.
10% thought they'd lose, 24% unsure.
Now break it down by party.
Democrats:
75% would win, 5% would lose, 20% unsure.
Republicans:
39% would win, 33% would lose, 28% unsure.
...
So thats's 25% of Dems don't think they're certain to win, vs 61% of Reps don't think they're certain to win...

Depending on how fast the scooter goes, she could definitely take him. He's very unstable and once he's down, he's not getting back up easily.

I am a fit 50-something lady and no I don't think I could beat up the fascist in chief because fat guys have mass on their side. I can think of ways (like the personal protection fighting that gets taught to women) to do enough to run away, but don't underestimate fat guys. They carry all that weight around all the time.

Conserve your energy, maintain your stamina, conceal your strength, keep him moving.
Only take a chance at a strike you know will hit, then flutter away.
Couple rounds of that, he's having a heart attack, you win.
He notoriously has horrendous posture.
That means his core will tire out rapidly if you keep him him on his toes.

Quick, someone ask him how Gavin Newsom managed to raise gas prices here in Pennsylvania, too. And the rest of the country. I genuinely want to hear his reasoning, I think it would be entertaining.
My inlaws were complaining about 200+ dollar charges to fill up their trucks and vans with gas.
The same people were telling me that buying a used EV in January 2024 was a bad idea. My car costs about $9 dollars to fill up, and it does that from home.
And people, we haven't even hit a fuel shortage yet. Wait until gas is rationed or flat out not available at most stations, and then see what happens to the price. If you think that isn't going to happen, airlines are already cutting flights due to fuel shortages spiking the price.
PA currently has a Democratic governor, so he'll probably just blame Shapiro

Stupidity is a separate dimension from privilege so naturally you would have a group of non stupid privileged people and also stupid privileged people.
This is just what stupid + privileged looks like.
See if you have stupid + unprivileged, you just get a natural balance via impactful consequences

Newsom didn't start The Stupidest War Ever. But, I suppose it's easy to convince stupid people that Newsome is to blame, somehow, even though gas prices are going up everywhere.
They want California to use dirtier fuel like the rest of the country, so they can die earlier too.
