I should get a magic ring. They look like fun.

That's a nice looking setup, and a great album. A nice change from their earlier albums while still sounding like The Black Keys.
I wasn't sure about it after the first couple of tracks — I've only really listened to Thickfreakness and Rubber Factory before, so those kind of define the band in my mind, IYSWIM.
It definitely grew on me tho.
I see what you mean. I was introduced to them a little later, for me it was Brothers and El Camino, and this album is still quite different from those. But it grew on me, too. In fact, a some of their newer albums -- this one, Let's Rock, and Dropout Boogie -- have been at the top of my rotation lately, moreso than the older albums. Maybe because I've heard the other songs so much already.
Nice Pioneer you got there, and the arm is a beauty, too.
I think the turntable belonged to my wife's ex-husband's parents originally. Not sure how she ended up with it, but I suspect my stepdaughter may claim it one day. Considering how it had been kept, it's in remarkably good shape. The belt was shot, and I put a new cartridge in it, but otherwise it's been great.
I got the amp and speakers new in 2004, I believe. Never given me any trouble either, I'm happy to say.
