they did. and now they're crossposting from it. which, ironically, means the attribution in text doesn't seem to show up properly, completely nullifying their argument in the last thread.

Hey loser, the community has overwhelmingly denied your petition about attribution. So stop it.

it's an alt of a user that keeps cropping artist's names out of comics insisting that the attribution is "advertising".

Apparently there's a whole story I am just learning about now. I don't have any tangible answers. What made leaving reddit easy was this dog shit comic always showing up. Here at Lemmy there was no dog shit until this day old account started spamming it. The worst part is people step up to defend it.

What's worse are the accounts that can't shut up about how much they dislike the artist, as if they are forced to interact instead of just moving on with their lives. Is there really that little going on that this merits such effort and attention?

The comics are rather annoying.

Beep would never be able to submit an essay to turnitin.com. The whole essay would be plagiarized. And they would say they didn't want to promote unfair citations.

They are that annoying kid on the playground that makes up rules when they see they are able to lose. Childish behavior.
