Interesting, but I always view these types of things as irrelevant to the human experience. Like I get why people want to figure it out, but nothing fundamentally changes if this turns out to be true.

It's similar to the debate about free will. If there is no free will then there is nothing to do about it anyway.

Für eine Illusion kann man die Zeit ganz gut messen.

Considering that time is an illusion, it’s actually quite easy to measure.

If time is an illusion, I can't get written off by arriving 30 minutes late to work because there is no such thing as late, right?

unfortunately, being late is entropy and as the article explained with the currency analogy, you don't need currency to be poor. given your write-off that might be the case anyway ;)
