ITT: People who didn't watch the video or realize what community they were posting in.

I didn't watch the video nor did I check what community this is, but for the past month I've been sleeping for 4 hours per night due to my own neuro problems, work requirements, and alcoholism. It has not been a good time and I don't recommend it.

If you can't sleep at night have you tried sleeping during the day?

[–] glitchdx@lemmy.world 2 points 20 hours ago

Special circumstances that no longer apply were occurring.

Nap time should be legally mandated

[–] mouse@piefed.world 8 points 1 day ago

I'm not myself without my naps

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Why the hell would anyone want to do that?

[–] LastYearsIrritant@sopuli.xyz 35 points 1 day ago

Cause it's hard to nap at night when you're already sleeping.

When I used to work on the road, I'd sleep for maybe 3 to 5 hours a day during the week, but that kind of thing catches up to you fast. I usually made up for it on the weekends, but it was not a healthy way to go.

I don't think that's possible to do and be healthy and happy, lol. I only get four to five hours of sleep on my work nights due to my long commute and I'm pretty tired and use both of my breaks to sleep in my car.
