The Southern Baptist Church has canonized Charlie to be the patron saint of school shootings.

I feel sorry for the rock that was painted by a bunch of Christian neo-Nazi fucknuts.

[–] Sgt_choke_n_stroke@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Poetry, rest in piss with netanyahu

[–] ugandan_airways@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Is the poetry the freedom t-shirt? I don’t get it necessarily. Fuck Kirk though

[–] dandelion@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

there is at the very least poetry in a man advocating for policies that lead to gun violence dying from gun violence.

[–] ugandan_airways@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah. I get that. Especially his last words. But I’m wondering if this is a reference to his shirt? Or just the whole situation.

[–] dandelion@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

probably the shirt is a synecdoche for the whole situation?

[–] ugandan_airways@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He is free from the shackles of being a conservative grifter. Free from the shackles of having to maintain that front.

[–] dandelion@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

he also freed his wife, it seems

in some ways, his martyrdom is the best possible outcome for his movement - esp. since in the end it looks like he was killed by someone radicalized in association with trans rights

Very polite to confirm a person's preferred conjugates

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 days ago

To be fair, I doubt that those are the ones he prefers lol

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Man, he really looks like the "Little Bits" guy in this photo.

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 100 points 3 days ago (2 children)
[–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 53 points 3 days ago (1 children)

At the very end he leaned left.

[–] lemmyng@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

But did he crank dat thang now?

[–] Naich@piefed.world 21 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Fucking hell. Steady on Mr. Psycho.

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 17 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I'll be cheering even more loudly when Trump dies,

However he goes, I hope it's very painful

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 days ago

I am going to take a weeks vacation to travel ... then stop at his grave and piss on it. To avoid indecent exposure charges I will piss in a bottle and pour it out on the grave. It has been that planned out.

[–] BeardededSquidward@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Choking on a McDonald's hamberder, violently shitting oneself, then falling out a window.

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

His fall needs to be public enough for the filth in his cult to get a hefty dose of reality

[–] Bbbbbbbbbbb@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I will be buying expensive liquor and calling out of work

How's that martyrdom going? I rarely hear folks talk about this grifter anymore. Good riddance. I'm just glad he's not here to change his stance on war with Iran.

[–] CluckN@lemmy.world 38 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Erika Kirk is getting a sweet deal by going on tour mourning his loss with blackjack and hookers.

[–] Tempus_Fugit@lemmy.world 16 points 3 days ago

Grifters gonna grift.

[–] tauisgod@lemmy.world 25 points 3 days ago (3 children)

And my state just made a law mandating schools have TPUSA student clubs. Knowing my shitheel government, the next step will be compulsory membership

[–] Tempus_Fugit@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

That sounds extremely un-american to me.

MAGAs don't do martyrs good, because they're all sociopaths who don't care about anyone but themselves. Other people are only important for whatever they can provide, which ends when they are dead. It's hard for MAGAs to carry a torch for someone who offers no immediate reward. It's all about what have you done for me lately, and Charlie hasn't been very helpful lately.

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

Religious folks talk about him constantly.

Wasn't this chud killed by another fascist?

Reckon his supporters are gonna go anti-fascist now?

[–] robocall@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

The alleged shooter has been quiet since being arrested. The investigation was also garbage.

[–] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 13 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Available evidence suggests he was probably on the left as he apparently killed him over trans rights. But the killer left very little clear information about his political views--if he had any beyond opposing bigotry.

[–] BussyCat@lemmy.world 18 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Wasn’t he a groper who disliked him because of his pro Israel stance?

The fact we haven’t heard anything else from him kind of cements that as well as the current fbi would clearly politicize it if they could

I honestly don't even understand why he has a memorial. He was just some guy. I said the same thing when Trump ordered flags at half staff for him.

Let's put aside his politics for a moment.

Kirk wasn't elected. He didn't hold any political office. Literally just a random person who was killed.

What he was known for was spewing hate, and then his own blood.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 55 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (2 children)

That's why they memorialized him. He was a fascist mouthpiece and they loved him for it. May he rest in piss

[–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

If I ever visit one of his memorials, I'll make sure to piss on it in his honour.

[–] The_Almighty_Walrus@lemmy.world 12 points 3 days ago

Dude has been real quiet about Iran re~~cently~~

[–] zeppo@lemmy.world 25 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Why would I run away from the ideas I believe in or try to silence them? That quote doesn’t even make any sense

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 28 points 3 days ago (1 children)

None of their bullshit makes any sense.
