Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

Incoming. One Trump Sponsored false flag act of terrorism coming up.

[–] Uranus_Hz@lemmy.zip 1 points 24 minutes ago* (last edited 24 minutes ago)

And AI will “prove” that Dems and “Antifa” conspired with Iran to do it.

[–] Defectus@lemmy.world 1 points 32 minutes ago

Fool me once, shame on me....

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 1 points 43 minutes ago

To lie us into war with Iran?

[–] theblurstoftimes@leminal.space 2 points 55 minutes ago

Probably should be the people that got us into this mess

[–] HotsauceHurricane@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Oh…oh good.

[–] MartianRecon@lemmus.org 59 points 4 hours ago (6 children)

False flag attacks are coming. Mark my words.

[–] duncan_bayne@lemmy.world 10 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

.... maybe?

With the disclaimer that I'm not at all sad that Khomeini was a casualty, Trump's illegal war against Iran is set to provoke some real attacks in, probably, quite short order.

[–] too_high_for_this@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Khomeini has been dead for 36 years. Khamenei is the guy who was just killed.

[–] duncan_bayne@lemmy.world 1 points 54 minutes ago

Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 30 points 3 hours ago

Probably also "Iranian election interference" and a need to federalize elections so Trump can avoid the inevitable in November.

[–] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 hours ago

They’re already claiming the Texas shooter was Iranian, so it seems to have already happened.

[–] usualsuspect191@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 hour ago

No need. They've fired and cut did many people that they can just wait for a "natural" one to happen

[–] Gerudo@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 hours ago

Remember, Trump needs enough reason to cancel elections....

The follow-up is, "Why?"

[–] DarkSideOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 16 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Some people say they want a terror attack, to get emergency declarations and steal the midterms. I just hope this is not true. A lot of innocent people would die for few remain in power. I don’t know what to believe anymore.

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 15 points 2 hours ago

Fascists are in power. That's enough to believe in while you go look for historical examples of fascists being peacefully voted out of office. That ought to keep you busy until oh, his fourth term.

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 107 points 6 hours ago (9 children)

If Iran were to destroy Mar A Lago, I think we could let it slide.

[–] bdonvr@thelemmy.club 7 points 2 hours ago

I'd have to send a thank you letter

[–] Wilco@lemmy.zip 15 points 4 hours ago

Let it slide? No. Medals would need to be given out.

[–] toiletobserver@lemmy.world 22 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

I unconditionally surrender all of Florida on behalf of the usa.

Why would this be a shock to anyone? He let hundreds of thousands of Americans die to covid.

[–] Zedstrian@sopuli.xyz 109 points 6 hours ago (7 children)

Trump is just trying to bring more people onto the side of supporting his illegal war on Iran by proposing an unrealistic risk of danger to the U.S.

[–] dual_sport_dork@lemmy.world 98 points 6 hours ago (3 children)

A danger that he totally incited in the first place by being a bloodthirty moron.

[–] PP_BOY_@lemmy.world 12 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

~~bloodthirsty moron~~ Slave to Israel

Bibi said "Kill" and he said "how many?" We surely know who's calling the shots here, right?

I say he is preparing the people for an ‘act of terror by Iran’, meaning there is going to be a false flag incident. He can then use that to claim war powers and dismantle the last sliver of US-American democracy.

There was some alledged Iranian in Austin last weekend. They claim the guy was wearing an Irani tee shirt.

[–] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago

Same with the religious spin ‘this is a holy war’ crap. If you frame this as god’s plan, then being against the war is being against said plan and god. This is an attempt to bring back the Republicans who naturally oppose this war.
