I could see this being used by people who aren’t able to manage all the controls themselves but still want some degree of interaction
There is value in that.
As an example, my wife has terrible hand eye co-ordination and has real trouble using controllers. We found a great way to experience games together. We play mostly story based or RPG type games. I operate the controller, but she picks character skills, quests, dialogue options, etc. She gets to experience the game, without the frustration of trying to operate. Yet another job AI is going to take from me, spending quality time with my wife (this last line being /s).
That is pretty sweet of u guys 😊
I can't wait to pay $100 for GTA VI and then let the Xbox play it for me!
Whyyyyyy
Ya know? Maybe the boomers had a point. Maybe kids are getting lazier. In MY day, we saved the princess ourselves! Then minecraft came along, and besides being mispronounced as Hitlers book title, it made it ok to not do anything. You CAN go mine for iron, or diamond. You don't HAVE TO. But you can.
Or you can stay here and play creative mode, and just build a house.
Or you can find a village, and be roommates with them.
Flash forward 15 years, and now we don't even have to play the games ourselves????
Alright listen here ya little shits! You're going to play nothing but TMNT on NES until you can beat the dam level. Too many kids going soft! In MY day, we used to practice practice practice until we could beat up Mike Tyson. Back when Mike Tyson was a ferral threat to society AND the boxing world! Now even Iron Mike is more like Squishy Playdoh Mike. Hell, even one of the Paul brothers beat him.
Kids these days don't know the thrill of gathering 20 kids to a TV, and watching an epic run of Battletoads, or Contra. You bet your ass we're going to finish! Every kid in the neighborhood is here! If you fail, everybody's gonna know. The world is watching!
These days? It's all online gaming, alone in a room. Nothing matters. There's no stakes. No reputation on the line. You're all just alone and sad. I guess you may as well let the game play itself, if you aren't going to take this seriously.
I used to think the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard was people paying people so they can watch them play games but paying Microsoft to destroy the climate so it can play games for you might actually be dumber.
Ew, gross
isnt that called cheating?
Not if the ~~president~~ corporate enshittifier does it.
Elon is going to be so.. Well, not happy. Uh.. Not secure in his ego.. Um. Well, he'll be using it anyway.
after the same dude repeatedly kills and teabags you
"Ok, AI; fuck xXn00bk1ll3rXx all the way up."
