Many of us are old enough to remember when he lied about Covid and a million Americans died when it could have been thousands.
It would probably be possible to charge Trump with mass murder based on that alone, if laws regarding purposely spreading illness were applied properly to his actions.
His defense would be that he's too stupid to do anything on purpose.
Trump is way too comfortable destroying the USA
People seem comfortable letting him.
Trump does not care about a single American life.

In fact, while the entire operation was occurring, he was partying, dancing at Mar A Lago at some big fundraiser. Fundraiser for what??? Dude can't be re-elected.... or is our constitution and laws and identity as the US also assault? Will Heggy be turning his guns on us next?

Oh it can all be found if you look for it, no doubt, but CNNworld has the story down with the monkey with the stuffed animal story.
APNews does not appear to feature the story on their main page at all. They're running a Today In History story on Rodney King's beating.
USA Today does have the story on their main page, also fairly low and with the headline: "Who attacked a girls' school in Iran, and will there be accountability?"
But mainly the pundit circles have been ignoring it. But that's what the punditry circuit does. Hyperfixate, ignore anything as needed.
That number seems to rise every day
He doesn't seem to have much of a plan. He must be dying very fucking fast or something because it looks like he's just trying to cement a legacy as quickly as possible before he pops his clogs.
The plan appears to be:
- Bomb Iran
- Kill the Iranian leadership
- Wait for new leadership to come along
- Bomb them too
Rinse repeat until the country collapses. No attempt at stabilisation, no positioning of the opposition so they can take over, just bomb bomb bomb and we'll think about what to do afterwards when Trump is dead and doesn't have to think about it anymore.
The objective is to prevent the pro-democracy protest movement from gaining power, since they won't be loyal stooges to oil companies or subservient to the Israelis. Instead, Netanyahu, Trump and their mob will try to install the son of the old puppet shah. He's popular among Iranian expats in the US, but a lot of those were (or are descended from) former lackeys of the old shah.
The amount of geriatric veterans of Vietnam I've seen hold unwaivering support for this orange asshole the last decade was already baffling enough.

Honestly, I am kind of shocked he has not been dragged out of his Florida palace or the WH and strung up by now. Obviously, the normal legal processes of removing someone so inept and dangerous have been neutered. Like.. CIA... Where TF are you? Apparently they are incompetent as well...could not even remove Castro.

I'm not convinced any national leader, be it monarch, president or whatever, has really given all that much of a fuck about the fallen soldiers at any point in time. If they did, wars wouldn't have been so incredibly common throughout history.
I'd wager that Zelenski cares. But he's waging the defense side of the war.
