The US pretends that Israel is a sovereign nation because the US population would not tolerate their actions if it was their own country.

That's called composition. A formal logical fallacy. Supersets are not homogenous. Applying what's true about a subset to the superset is possibly correct but often isn't.
For instance, all dogs are collies is demonstrably wrong. But all collies are dogs is true.
Again, early teens is not a woman, that's grade school or beginning of high school:
