With the death of LemmyNSFW seemingly being permanent this time, this also means the death of !NikkeNSFW@lemmynsfw.com. I'm looking for a new place to migrate the community.

Here are the following places I'm considering:

I really wanted to migrate the community to Ani.Social as it's an anime-related instance, but I've spoken with the owner and they said materials with sexual intercourse or masturbation aren't allowed mainly due to censorship laws.

Anyone have any opinions on this matter?

No strong opinions, but I would lean away from lemmy.world. After all, the point of defederation is to have resilience from losses like this. And if lemmy world goes down, it would be a heavy hit to the wider lemmy community

I agree with you and I feel like an idiot for not having thought of that.

With that said, we've now officially moved to !NikkeNSFW@reddthat.com. And if you're into big anime tiddies, then !BigAnimeTiddies@piefed.zip is a thing as well. Thank you for your suggestion!

It's too bad they only existed after I already created the two comms.

But on the other hand, putting NikkeNSFW and BigAnimeTiddies on two separate instances mean the damage won't be as severe if one instance dies in the future.

Something happened to LemmyNSFW?

Personally I don't really engage with that kind of content, and would prefer to keep NSFW separated to its own community. However, the way I browse Lemmy has decent filters that I can have that locally if you go the other way as well.

The site is down and the owner has apparently been MIA for a couple of months now. This isn't the first time the site went down, but this time it has gone down for a lot longer than it usually goes down for. So most of us are assuming it's dead for good.

And I was just joking about the explicit content on this community. I've already started a new community at !NikkeNSFW@reddthat.com for explicit Nikke content. :)

I like having separation of towing the line ecchi of "standard" Nikke and straight up sex and stuff of Nikke NSFW. Idk maybe it's just me being weird.

I have no opinions for what instance is should live in, sorry.
