If it weren't for the US$60 price tag, I would've snatched her gacha skin by now. :(

Is it weird to have Marian AND Red Shoes as waifus? Asking for a friend.

Then the API debacle happened two years ago

Good news! They made things worst a few days ago by requiring users to request permission to get a personal API key. So if you don't already use a modified 3rd party app with your own API key, then you're fucked!

Good question. I tried to find that comment again but can't seem to find it anymore. I'll report back if I bump into another Lemmy link that's from outside my home instance that doesn't get localized.

Ah, that's a pretty useful site. Thanks for letting me know!

Also, congrats on being the first to Rickroll me here on Lemmy lol.

RIP to the GiGO building IRL.

The other interfaces look pretty neat! Although, now that I think about it, is there a way to convert Lemmy links posted by people from a different instance to your home instance? I was trying out the Photon interface until I saw someone link a post from their home instance, and clicking on it brought me off Lemmy.ca entirely.

Does anyone know of any useful extensions for Lemmy? The site is pretty usable without any extensions, but that's what I thought about Reddit before I learned about Reddit Enhancement Suite many years ago.

I want this to be real.

What about the uneducated fleas?

There are no mods on !nikke@lemmy.world and I would love to moderate the community.

Depends on the community. I've met some very helpful noob-friendly developers who recognize you're a noob and will use simpler terms to guide you through the process, and passive aggressive assholes that'll ignore your messages the very second they figure out you're a noob. Even though they were literally just talking to you seconds before.

As long as they don't F up the price of the Steam Machine, then this would be wonderful for both the gaming and Linux communities.
