I used vitamin C because I expected it to make my skin tighter and less translucent, but it doesn't seem to work

I don't know how old you are and whether you need to hear this, but it is totally fine to look the way you look. You are either your hardest critic, or surrounded by the wrong people. This sounds like such a tiny detail that most probably won't even notice.

Look at yourself in a mirror from 2 m / 6 ft away. That's how most people see you. Occasionally people might be half as far away. Are they really that stricking?

The most obvious things always receive the most attention. A stylish haircut, or a great outfit or a cool tattoo will leave a bigger impression than any vein or scar or whatever else.

Draw much brighter red lines on other parts of your face, so nobody will notice the blue.

Pop a flashbang before entering the room. Anyone inside will be too dazed and occupied with other things to notice the blue veins.

If you can’t buy or build a flashbang, I recommend making a one-day blinding stew.

I don't think people got the pun.

Blue veins and dark circles under eyes are mostly genetic. You might be able to minimize them by getting enough rest and hydration, or cover them with under eye concealer.

2 options:

  • Moisturize. Healthy skin, healthy life.

  • pick up farming. Toiling in the dirt, baked by the sun will have the skin too cooked to show veins beneath.

Start a puppy mill, puppies have a natural tendency to draw attention and focus away from your hideous appearance. In your case I would bring at least five or six puppies everywhere you go.

Especially peach concealer mixed with foundation or other concealer with a more natural color

[–] DearMoogle@piefed.social 3 points 7 hours ago

Seconding a warm toned concealer, something like a peachy color like this, OP! Counteracts blue/purple on the color wheel. Look into color correcting concealers.

Kenneth: “Miss Maroney, I have that hemorrhoid cream you wanted!”

Jenna: stunned, in the middle of talking to her new boss “…it’s for my face…”

Jack: “Well wherever you’re putting it, I think it’s working.”
