I wish him the worst luck ever. Like maybe he trips on his first day and a corner table takes his neck out.

Also, I think it's okay to not regard murderers as people deserving respect. So my comment here should offend no decent people.

I hope they take her image, find her, find him, and vandalize both of their house and car.

[–] teslekova@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

He's not a murderer yet. Or a rapist. He just wants to be. Maybe we can get away with terrifying him out of the desire for evil.

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 52 points 2 days ago

I mean they are both posting on the nazi central twitter.

[–] EpeeGnome@feddit.online 12 points 1 day ago

Maybe he was impressed at the part where the agent got away with it. If I was a murderous psychopath that would seem like a really appealing job perk.

Lmao, @wake_up_girl_3, this is just too good.

[–] Broadfern@lemmy.world 69 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Might as well have @not_a_sockpuppet_420 as her username lmao

'Murica is beyond parody

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 12 points 2 days ago

Are they trying to track doxxers with this?

Pray? They'll hire literally anyone.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If they're anything like the cops, then they have a maximum IQ limit.

[–] Yeller_king@reddthat.com 2 points 1 day ago

They're not even that rigorous.

[–] autriyo@feddit.org 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not sure about that, if you're empathetic, have sound morals or can think for yourself, you are probably out.

But decent people probably wouldn't apply over their dead bodies, so they'll hire anyone who is stupid, desperate, or asshole enough to apply.

[–] joyjoy@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago

They don't do background checks and don't check paperwork.

"He's got himself a good job. Killing women and Mexicans."

Aunty Kitty is probably a dude named Igor.

[–] RockBottom@feddit.org 38 points 2 days ago (1 children)

What, except being a good person, would stop them from accepting him?

[–] ViatorOmnium@piefed.social 84 points 2 days ago (4 children)

There's another thread going around where a left wing reporter with a failed drug test was accepted into ICE without even finishing to submit the paperwork.

[–] chunes@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

My favorite part of that article was when the ice agent got all offended that the author expressed interest in the desk duty they make you do before they send you into the field

[–] FinjaminPoach@lemmy.world 14 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Would they hire from the people they've rounded up to deport?

[–] FiniteBanjo@feddit.online 7 points 1 day ago

Probably, actually. They're desperate to get the numbers up because its the only thing racists zealots still support him for.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 9 points 1 day ago

Honestly the most surprising part of all of that was that they're hiring women. These thugs tend to be every -ist they can find, including sexist.

It would be funny if they end up hiring too many normal people and as a result the whole thing falls apart.

[–] Macchi_the_Slime@piefed.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I heard they even got mad that this person didn't actually take the job. Like... what the actual fuck? That can't be real right?

[–] BranBucket@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

I imagine that along with the arrest quota, there might be recruiting quota as well. It would be completely in line with how the rest of this administration operates, and large bureaucracies in general, for the people in charge of hiring to only worry about hitting their numbers and covering their own asses.

If there's not a rule that says "don't hire left-leaning reporters" and the guy was otherwise "qualified", the recruiter just wasted an afternoon of work and missed a coffee break because he backed out.

If the reporter had taken the job, his political leanings would have been his first supervisors problem and not the recruiters.

Bet they figured at worst they'd let the Lefty ride a desk and let a True Believer get out there and harass some brown people.

I wish for him to step on a Lego.

[–] Mk23simp@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I wish for him to learn some better judgement.

[–] baggachipz@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 days ago

I wish for him to get what he deserves

[–] sukhmel@programming.dev 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Maybe they applied to become an undercover agent 🤔

Destroying things from the inside is one of the most effective ways of crippling an organization.
