Posting on the Fediverse via SMS, when?
This might be of interest to some of the privacy communities. If you think there's overlap, feel free to post in one of the larger ones.
"Dumbphones" are not inherently superior from a privacy perspective if they connect to cell towers. Standard calls and SMS are wide open to eavesdropping.
No, they're not, and I didn't say they were. But there are a lot of people that only let a tower touch a dumbphone and keep a wifi only smartphone that is more secure, so the venn diagram does have some overlap.
