Hello fellow Far Side fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips and one of those was The Far Side. These days of course you find just about anything online including www.thefarside.com where they post several comics a day and I repost them here. Just to note, the date you see in my posts is not the initial release date, but the date they were posted on the website.
The Far Side is a single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Chronicle Features and then Universal Press Syndicate, which ran from December 31, 1979, to January 1, 1995 (when Larson retired as a cartoonist). That's udderly hilarious.
Couple of college friends (girls) took us (guys) to a bar one night. Thought I had died and gone to heaven, nothing but women, of all kinds.
Pulled up to the bar, ordered my drink, looked around. Um, why are these women looking at me like I'm utter filth? Took a second look at the bartender, punked out, total butch.
I have never felt so unwelcome in a space in my life. Why did the girls take us there?! Been to plenty of gay bars and "half-and-half" bars, but apparently lesbian bars aren't so welcoming. 😁
(Yes, I am aware of why there were looking at us like that. I think the meme above about sums it up their view of me.)

Wow, this one is weird. Ironically, its weirdness comes from its lack of that classic Far Side absurdist humor. It’s just a normal joke! Wow. I’m honestly shocked.
