I also recently learned they can be left or right "clawed", which happens gradually over several molts from being identical at birth.

I used to wonder if it would be more efficient, purely from a farming perspective, that if you harvested a claw from a really big lobster, if they could grow it back faster than the same weight smaller lobster would develope from an immature one.
