First spin with 5K UHD 2160p Ultra Wide (45GX950A-B OLED, 45"). Banana for scale.

This is an absolute monster of a display and replaced my triple 24" setup that I used for years. It's a little bit less in wide compared to my old setup but a lot higher . Will need some time to adjust properly but the immersion is mind blowing. Brief demo: https://makertube.net/w/fb6fsA5PtJiFbBTxbMk67X

you can't weigh anything with a banana.

They weight stuff in pound, stones, ounces, tons, noggin, shekel, … and you tell me a banana can not be used? Everyone world wide knows the size and weight of a banana xD

Love to see that you’re running on Linux. What sticks are you using? I’m moving over to Linux in just over a week and I’ve got my old X52 Pro I’m hoping will work with Elite on Proton.

Various, some DIY. The X52 Pro as well. It works like a charm, just plug and play. There's the GX52 app for control of the LED and MFD if you want that. There's also a x52 cli tool for scripting.

Looks amazing! This exact monitor is on my radar too but I‘m afraid I‘ll fuck it up by running too much static content on it and I‘m a bit worried it might actually finally be too big of a monitor for me.

Here's to hoping that it's auto cleaning function helps to extend it's lifetime.

For that price, one might assume that an Index was a smarter move. 🤓
