16 years ago a girl my age slapped my ass and said "sorry, I couldn't resist, it's so nice"

I still think about that sometimes.

[–] Asetru@feddit.org 10 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Does Keiko know about that?

[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

She's still on Bajor.

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

It came up during their first date.

I was in Las Vegas a couple decades ago when some lady randomly pinched my butt and then giggled as she walked off.

I'll remember that for the rest of my life.

Twenty-four years ago a guy literally kicked my butt and said "sorry, I couldn't resist, it was just so big."

I still think about that sometimes.

That's a true story, BTW.

You get roughly one of these every 5-10 years gotta savor them

[–] khannie@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

I got one about 7 years ago from a random lady in the pub (I rarely go to the pub).

"Nice shirt"

There was nothing more to it than that.

It was a nice shirt in fairness.

This actually happened to me yesterday, from the barista at a local cafe. I’m still riding the high.

[–] Asetru@feddit.org 16 points 2 weeks ago

And you will be for the next 20 years. At least.

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 10 points 2 weeks ago

That's lovely! These kind of moments are so nice

I'm still on a high from a teenager telling me my Waynestock tshirt was cool.

That happened 16 years ago.

I was visiting a friend in a different city because I had a job interview.

As I walked to my car in the guest parking lot on the other side of the planet in my best suit, a random dude stops his car to say "Bro, you look fuckin nice"

Made my day.

I got the job offer, quit my shitty job I had at the time a month before the new job was to start so I could get everything moved to a new city, the Covid hit and the job offer was withdrawn and I didn't qualify for unemployment because I'd left the first job voluntarily and never actually started the new job :(

Things are going great now, though.

I had some random lady tell my I looked cuddly once, I still pull that one up from time to time.

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 4 points 2 weeks ago

I remembered. Went swimming this year for the first time in years, it was nice, but already far too long ago ☁️🌻

[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

I just get reruns of every mistake I've ever made :\

I wish men’s dress fashion (including business and business casual) was more interesting. It’s very difficult to make someone feel seen when they look like they are trying to blend in.

Suits, dress pants and button shirts with ties, boring. I mean I like the move away from formal clothing in general, but men’s formal and semi-formal clothing is boring. Idk how y’all deal with it tbh.

Wear suit skirts. Wear bright colors. Bring back lace, jewelry, funky hats. Have fun with your clothes, push the boundaries. We could do with more fun in the world.

(I am not a man, so I am powerless to influence this, other than stating an opinion, but bring back capes at least, please and thank you)

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 4 points 2 weeks ago

Capes would be amazing! I'm gonna start wearing them when I'm elderly and can do wtf i want

[–] chunes@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I wear ponchos whenever I can get away with it

A common denominator for all of us ... or many or most of us ... is the music we listened to when we were teenagers

[–] thatradomguy@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Random guy said this to me ages ago while I was shopping. I delayed in responding to him because it was so out of the blue and we were going in different direction when he said it, so it caught me off guard for sure. I still think about that day.

[–] Coskii@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago

Unironically I need that shirt.

[–] rizzothesmall@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago

Recently picked up a jumper covered in mycological study sketches of various fungi.

Lady at the supermarket stopped me and said "I really love that jumper! It's amazing"

😁

[–] jaschen306@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago

"Can you answer this question?"

So... It's a banana... With a fork in it?
