You can remove the tags
Gotta be careful how you do it though. If you just snip the tags you might create a rigid crest that feels worse than the tag
I yank mine out with force and then grow jaded when my clothes fall apart
I pull out my sewing kit and use the seam ripper to remove the tag one stitch at a time, then I find the best match for color thread that the original manufacturer used, to sew the collar back until you can't even tell a tag was ever there.
Why d'you keep looking at my back?
