I would've expected it to be more common. Maybe not necessarily canned corn but still.
I mean there's a way to do this like some fresh sweet corn off the cobb, olive oil with garlic sautéed in it, some stanky cheese shavings, maybe some lemon to add some depth, along side a nice seared tuna steak, but this is not the way. This is some vestigial postwar German shit. Same vibes as old British food. The war's over folks, treat yo self.

What’s the problem with the corn?
This is the first time I've ever thought that a bowl of noodles actually looked like worms. Very impressive.
And yet the Brits get all the shit for our cooking.
Considering you guys went ALL around the world in search of spices, then decided to NOT use them 🤪, yeah. only issue I see with this is the tuna.
Ha, this actually reminds me of my favourite food fact, Japanese curry is a British invention.

Because of the post that showed your "date" hating on your dish. They even had pictures of the pan with the sauce in the exact same spots and everything.
