It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Quality build and a smooth, quiet trail ride set this budget e-mountain bike apart.

I love that these are priced to get people into this hobby. I've seen a couple guys out on the Aventon version (ramblas?) where I regularly ride.

The price is good, mid-drive is good, I'm a tad confused about 250 W though, and 36 V is odd considering that other bikes in their lineup use 48 V.

Specifically, I think mid-drive really shines in mountain biking because it's substantially less fussy when changing a tire. No hub motor means no wires sticking offboard and liable to get pinched when striking a rock.

I got burned by that company once. Maintenance is a bitch, specifically the brakes, rims pinched the tubes causing flats, and they're extremely heavy even for e-bike standards.

$2095?

Get the fuck out of here. You can build your own for $500.

It’s a custom frame that includes a mid drive motor, an integrated battery, and fully internal wiring. You aren’t going to get that for $500. No idea the quality of the front fork but those alone can run for over $2000
