Friend of mine set their phone to automatically go grayscale for certain hours to make doomscrolling unappealing

I have that too, but there's also a button that pauses it for 30 min in the notifications and I am too weak.

Ive thrown my phone as hard as I could at the ground during a mental health crisis and it actually worked pretty well for getting off of the doomscroll train. Then I got a new phone and now I'm back in the trenches

That's why I'm still loving the Minimal Phone. E-paper display is terrible for doom scrolling (though you 100% can if you want) but great for reading and doing phone/organizer stuff.

I'll doom scroll on my laptop, TYVM lol.
