In fairness, I'm Welsh, and I'd reject someone from Cwmbran too 🤷🏻‍♂️

What the article left out is that it was a pet sitting deal for the host's sheep.

Bravo, you had me for a moment there 👏

An Airbnb host once deposited a key at a shop that was closed on the day of my arrival. This made it impossible to access the place. All I got was a refund for that day, and had to search for an alternative myself.

If we can’t be racist against white people, who can we be racist against?

[–] jwt@programming.dev 8 points 11 months ago

It's OK to be racist against agents if you're an Aussie.

Lots of non-white Welsh people too.

Unless you're a RINO, we already hate our children and I doubt every one of your children has the exact same skin color as you...

Imagine going to Cwmbran and being pissed off that there's Welsh people.

Almost like the letters in right wing papers pissed off at people in Stornoway speaking Gaelic on the bus.

The (prospective) guests were visiting from Wales. The Airbnb was in Manchester.

Manchester, which is right next door to Snowdonia. Someone being a grumpy neighbor?

[–] Skullgrid@lemmy.world 9 points 11 months ago

I tried to find the community clip of Piers' dad being racist against welsh people and failed

Leave that Welsh tart alone.
