looking through this persons comment history just shows that they're probably just a right-wing troll. And the descriptions in the community of it being a "free-speach" community just confirms that.
New Communities
A place to post new communities all over Lemmy for discovery and promotion.
Rules
The rules for behavior are a straight carry over of Mastodon.World's rules. You can click the link but we've reposted them here in brief, as a guideline. We will continue to use the Mastodon.World rules as the master list. Over all, be nice to each other and remember this isn't a community built around debate. For the rules about formatting your posts, scroll down to number 2.
1. Follow the rules of Mastodon.world, which can be found here.
A. Provide an inclusive and supportive environment. This means if it isn't rulebreaking and we can't be supportive to them then we probably shouldn't engage.
B. No illegal content.
C. Use content warnings where appropriate. This means mark your submissions NSFW if need be.
D. No uncivil behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: Name Calling; Bullying; Trolling; Disruptive Commenting; or Personal Criticisms.
E. No Harrassment. As an example in relation to Transgender people this includes, deadnaming, misgendering, and promotion of conversion therapy. Similarly Misogyny, Misandry, and Racism are also banned here.
2. Include a community or instance title and description in your post title. - A following example of this would be New Communities - A place to post new communities or instances all over Lemmy for discovery and promotion.
3. Follow the formatting. - The formatting as included below is important for people getting universal links across Lemmy as easily as possible.
Formatting
Please include this following format in your post:
[link text](/c/community@instance.com)
This provides a link that should work across instances, but in some cases it won't
You should also include either:
or instance.com/c/community
FAQ:
Q: Why do I get a 404?
A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.
Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?
A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn't get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn't actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.

what were the disagreements about?
he defended ableist slurs against neurodivergent people and called the mod "fucking stupid".
I must be really old because the only words I understood from that sentence was slurs and fucking stupid.
neurodivergent are people who have atypical brains. like those with adhd, autism, etc. several of the admins of dbzero are neurodivergent, and many of the mods are as well, so they obviously don't appreciate slurs against people like them.
There's another comment that asked the same thing with replies in it. See https://lemmings.world/comment/16797777
!nostupidquestions@lemmy.world is a heaven for trolls who have nothing to contribute but their opinions. There's nothing to learn there :/
i couldn't see what you're referring to, though
Horse shit, there's a few regular commentors that do their best with every question they can, and even more that contribute irregularly but in good faith, even if they fall short of accuracy.
What are you talking about? I never said anything about this community
There's another comment that asked the same thing with replies in it. See https://lemmings.world/comment/16797777
strangely, from your link jerboa opens this post ☞
opening it in browser helped. You should probably post these on your new community?
it might convert incorrectly the lemmings.world link's comment ID to your instance's ID (https://sh.itjust.works/comment/16797777) which isn't correct because comment and post IDs don't match between 2 instances
Can't keep up with the all the fedi drama lol
fedi drama is the best
What disagreements?
I would assume this https://scribe.disroot.org/post/3486289/5751938
the only way to get into whatever version of heaven you believe in is to kill as many nazis and zionists as you can. fuck ICE, fuck trump, and fuck the liberals that put him into power. proud member of the db0 grassroots left wing qanon Russian troll farm sent to divide you all.
Guy acts tough and badass, is actually a lifeless moron with skin thinner than paper. Tale as old as the web.
Where did you find this?
It's the bio for cryptagion's profile.
I'm not the mod. He was temp banned by somebody else, for being a dick and excusing slurs against neurodivergent people. I just called it before it happened because I've seen plenty of other ableist dicks get banned for it.
Yea, like… me for saying the ban was stupid?
This is getting ridiculous now
Good thing I made the community heh
you said a temp ban for ableist slurs on an instance run by neurodivergents was "fucking stupid", when the OP refused to edit their post to remove the slurs. what did you think was gonna happen? you got a temp ban yourself, it's hardly the end of the world.
when the OP refused to edit their post to remove the slurs
They claim they haven’t received the opportunity to
what did you think was gonna happen?
A discussion to get their logic and side of the story?
Nah, banning is better. This way people will learn and change for sure, definitely won’t grow to hate db0 more and more..
There wasn’t even any slur, like come on, at least try making valid reasons. Anyone with a little good faith can understand what was meant by the message and that it wasn’t made to make fun of mental disorders
Nah, banning is better. This way people will learn and change for sure, definitely won’t grow to hate db0 more and more..
if people hate us because they can't act like that on our instance without getting a ban, then that's really their problem, not ours. nobody needs to be federated with us if they think we're too sensitive or woke. that's the beauty of fedi, if you don't like our space, you can go make your own. like you did.
but don't expect us to cater to your whims. you don't pay the bills to keep our instance running. you don't even live there. you don't get a say in how we curate our instance.
that hurts my heart. good to know I live rent free in your heads tho.
In part as well. There are many things that have built up over time, this whole post made me realize I had enough
- Not wanting people to downvote what they don't agree with
- Easily consider things as brigading and vote manipulation
- Easy censorship on specific subjects (including anti AI even though anti AI people are annoying from time to time)
- Fear of not being able to criticize db0's administration
Also one of the YPTB mods is in a group with like 3 others who all:
Flood user modlogs with unfounded accusations of vote manipulation and trolling.
Think that people browsing All should know the size and history of every community before downvoting a single post. Also don't understand what lurkers are and assume intent.
Take downvoting very personally.
Also one of the YPTB mods is in a group with like 3 others who all
Who's that ?
Off the top of my head.
unruffled at dbzero hypes up the conspiracy that everyone who gets banned for vote manipulation/whatever deserves it. I think they posted something about the brigade menace and treat a handful of down votes on something as the end of the world.
cryptagion at dbzero does mass bans for one or a few down votes
mystic mushroom at dbzero does mass bans for one or a few down votes
Also jet at hackertalks does mass bans for one or a few down votes
Think there was one other too but can't remember their name. The complaint is that they don't understand what lurkers are (vote but don't comment) or that people might browse all and not care about AI but down vote something because it is awful. Then they make ridiculous accusations and accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being a troll.
If they just banned down votes and banned anyone who down voted with the reason 'down votes not allowed' then they would not be getting the widespread negative reaction that they are getting by accusing people of brigading or vote manipulation or 'anti-ai harassment' and all their other stupid and insulting made up ban reasons.
Those 3 shitheads are fucking pathetic.
You can also add m_f & Flatworm7591 for bandwagoning on with cryptagion for their pro Ai crusade.
Jet also spreads misinformation about meat consumption and sudo health bullshit 🤮
cryptagion at dbzero does mass bans for one or a few down votes
downvoting is against the rules of those communities. if you don't read the rules before interacting with a comm, that isn't my problem. why not make a post in YPTB?
People can't see the community rules when browsing All you fucking donkey.
Also, down voting is NOT against the rules unless they were changed recently recently.
downvoting has been against the rules from the start. and again, it's not my problem if you didn't read the rules. you were banned according to them. if you don't like it, that's really tough.
Out of all those people, isn't @unruffled@lemmy.dbzer0.com the only mod of !yepowertrippinbastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com ?
