Maybe that shit gets a pass in the delta quadrant, but wasn’t he doing that on TNG? smdh
Well he's wearing the DS9 uniform in this shot.
DS9 was supposed to be more of a frontier environment where regulations took more of a backseat
much to odo and kira's chagrin.
And O'Brian went from transporter chief of a well maintained Federation ship to chief technician of a bullshit alien space station. He had a lot more actual work to do.
I think you could omit the last line and swap the image with O'Brien's dead-ass stare.
