I don't get it. How easy would it be to just create a national tax for people who own more than one home?
What normal person needs two homes? And if you can afford two homes, you can afford to pay taxes.
It's like stupid easy money.
When you and your spouse live together most days but it’s a waste of time to drive 4+ hours a day in commute time, you get a small apartment you can sleep in closer to one of the jobs
I live at the office during the week, and am texting this in my bed in a converted office in one of our buildings on our footprint. Sure, it’s convenient… but, being away from home sure as hell isn’t. I’m putting in for an open position 30 minutes away from home, instead of 4hrs.
