The subtle, yet quite distinct, difference between having a bee in your bonnet, and having it on your bonnet.
Beekeeping and Bees
Beekeeping, bee gardens, bee research, bee pictures, and honey appreciation.
Both are better than having one inside it! 😬
like when look all over for your glasses and you realize you have them on the bees on your head
I always see beekeeper outfits in white or off-whites. Is there a reason for this? Are there more colors people forgo for some reason?
There are other colors, but you typically see them in tans or neutral tones. Part of it is that it's a lot easier to see if there's a bee on you when your suit isn’t dark, lol. Another part is that you work in the bright sun, and a light suit helps keep you cool. Finally, some beeks say that bees are attracted to, or even angered by, black. Not sure if thats true, but either way a black suit sounds miserable!
how far do you live from washington state, and how badly do you want to go help round up all those bees?

Oh my god! I live here and have bees!
This happens like once every other year anyway, I'll take care of the next one!
That story led to my discovery of Eddie Izzard’s “covered in bees” bit and I’m better off for it.
