So someone though that someone who can't program robots good enough to do the cleaning, could program robots for cooking?

i think its more the social tolerance of what is acceptable food to eat is more lax than the tolerance of what is an acceptably clean dish is. even automatic dishwashers dont clean perfectly without some level of human intervention.

These are basically large scale vending machines of the coffee variety. If anyone has ever seen what happens to one of those things when they don't get cleaned regularly you'll know what I'm talking about. Absolutely disgusting, every time I see one of them in the wild I avoid them like the plague.
