I need a nonprofessional driver's license. I need a student driver's permit 1st right? 1 of the requirements for a student driver's permit is a certificate of completion of the Theoretical driving course. I've known someone who can drive and has had a license. I asked Grok 3 if I could ask him to teach me instead of going to a driving school. Per Grok 3, the certificate from the driving school is needed. Is that right?

From reading the requirements, what naturally comes to mind is just go to a driving school. I'm just wondering if I can save ₱ by not going to a school.
