I am a library aid for my highschool, these books were once taken off the shelves and legally banned.

However due to many authors and publishers threatening to sue (and some actually following through), 36 of the 176 books banned have returned.

Hope it continues. And sorry if this breaks the politics rule even if it doesn't show a politician.

Let's hope the other 140 authors also threaten to sue!

Maybe write an anonymous tip to those authors to let them know what’s up

If not, I’ll buy your library one!

I'll buy your library ten books. You pick. Multiples of the same book or one each of particular books. Lemme know.

Please don't choose to use this to ask for prohibitively expensive books.

I’m sorry you have to deal with this kind of BS where you live, OP.

Damn that sucks but glad things are moving in the right direction! What country had these banned?

Looking at the language and plug socket I would guess USA

Florida, USA. #1 on banned books in the nation.

If this is political, so is everything else-- people politicize everything lately, much to the detriment of the kids. In this case, all I see are some lovely books going back on the shelves, hopefully accompanied by more to come. Thanks for sharing!
